Operating the L16 2.0 is intuitive and straightforward. Using the side switch, a single click powers the flashlight on or off, and pressing and holding while the flashlight is off enters moonlight mode. When the flashlight is on, pressing and holding cycles through Low, Medium 1, Medium 2, and High modes, which can be memorized upon release. A double click enters Turbo mode, and a triple click activates the strobe function. The tactical tail switch allows for a tap to momentarily turn on the flashlight and a click to enter Turbo mode, noting that any side switch operation is disabled if the tail switch is clicked first.
For added security, the flashlight can be locked by pressing and holding the side switch for three seconds when off, indicated by three moonlight flashes. To unlock, simply press and hold the side switch for three seconds, and the flashlight will enter moonlight mode. Charging the L16 2.0 takes approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes, with a red indicator light showing charging status and a green light indicating a full charge.

Side Switch
• Single click to power ON/OFF
• When flashlight is OFF, press and hold to enter moonlight mode
• When flashlight is ON, press and hold to cycle through Low → Med 1 → Med 2 → High, which can be memorized. Release it to select the current mode
• Double click to enter Turbo mode
• Triple click to enter Strobe
Tactical Tail Switch
• Tap for momentary on and click to enter Turbo mode
Please note if click the Tactical Tail Switch at first, any Side Switch operation is useless.
Lock & Unlock
Lock
• When flashlight is OFF, press and hold the Side Switch for 3 seconds, the flashlight will be Locked after 3 times' Moonlight flashes.
It is useless for any operation now.
Unlock
• When flashlight is Locked, press and hold the Side Switch for 3 seconds, the flashlight will be Unlocked and enters Moonlight mode.
