Shipping Information

We ship Monday - Friday except on holidays noted below. We try our best to ship some orders on Saturday if our schedule allows it, but like you, we also have lives outside of work and we like to enjoy time with friends, family and the outdoors! We hope you understand if we can't ship your orders on Saturday!

** We do not ship outside of the US. No exceptions. However, there are services like myus.com that can assist you with ordering. **

Important Lithium Battery Information

 

Domestic

We cannot ship lithium or rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that are not packed with or installed in the equipment they can operate using USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Any orders containing only batteries MUST ship with UPS Ground. We cover the UPS Ground shipping if the order total for a battery only order is above the free shipping threshold. However, If the order does not meet the free shipping threshold you must select UPS Ground even if other options are available. Any USPS First Class or Priority package we can ship no more than 8 total cells when purchased with devices they can operate.

Hawaii and Alaska

Devices with batteries installed can be shipped to Hawaii or Alaska but UPS Ground is not allowed to be used even if available during checkout. We can not ship battery only orders to Hawaii or Alaska.

Shipping & Delivery


Free Shipping

Orders being delivered to a US address are eligible for free shipping if the order total is $100.00. The shipping method is up to us and we will use a bubble mailer on lightweight items. Depending on where you are located delivery times for the vast majority of packages we send are from 2 to 8 business days. From time to time there can be delays that extend past the estimates listed during checkout and we kindly ask for you to please be patient for the packages to arrive. USPS First Class and Priority packages can take up to a month to be delivered specially when the order includes lithium-ion batteries. We do guarantee your package will arrive but we are not responsible for delays within the USPS/UPS shipping system. You will be sent an email with a link to track the shipment if your order.


Package Protection

During checkout, we now offer optional package protection for a small percentage of your cart value. We highly suggest purchasing package protection on your shipment to help protect your order from theft (porch pirates). Carrier insurance does not cover these casesPackage protection will allow you to recover the cost of your order quickly without waiting on a lengthy USPS or UPS process. We will not cover/reship packages that are marked as delivered but not received. Package protection insurance is needed for these specific cases.

At our discretion, we may require a valid police report when the customer’s package is marked as delivered and not received.

Filing a police report for a stolen package is a straightforward process that can often be completed quickly. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it:

  1. Contact Your Local Police Station: Start by finding your local police station. You can usually find this information with a simple online search. Look for the station’s address, non-emergency phone number, and any available online reporting options.

  2. Contact the Police Station: Call the non-emergency number of your local police station. Explain that you need to file a report for a stolen package and mention that it's related to a claim with the company protecting your package.

  3. Determine the Method of Reporting: During the call, inquire about the options available for filing the report. Some police stations allow reports to be filed online, over the phone, or in person. The method may vary depending on your location and the specific policies of the police department.

  4. File the Report: When filing the report, whether it’s online, over the phone, or in person, be prepared to provide specific details. Commonly required information includes:

    • Name of the retailer where you made the purchase.
    • Date of the order.
    • Date of delivery or expected delivery.
    • Name of the carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).
    • The location where the package was left (if known).
    • The value of the package.

  5. Reference/Case Number: After filing the report, make sure to obtain a reference or case number. This number is crucial as it will be used to track the progress of your report and for communication with us.

  6. Send us the Reference/Case Number: Once you have the reference or case number please send it to us.

Remember, a police report is an official document, so it’s important to provide accurate and truthful information. Also, keep in mind that the process and requirements may vary slightly depending on your location and the specific policies of your local police department.


Shipping


Most orders will be shipped via UPS and shipping rates are calculated real time using UPS current rates and are based on the weight of the items and packaging on the order. We do not charge any handling or packaging fees.

Orders for in-stock items will be shipped out within two business days of receipt of payment; with the vast majority of orders processed and in USPS hands within 24 hours of your order being placed.

UPS quoted shipping times at checkout do not include any time it takes for us to process your order. Also, UPS does not guarantee shipping times and they do not come with any guarantee should your package be delayed (even substantially).

USPS First Class and Priority mail orders with lithium-ion batteries are often incorrectly routed through surface mail (USPS Parcel Select) which has around a two week delivery time but could be longer.

We will only ship a replacement in cases where UPS has lost the shipment and reshipment is at our discretion. If your shipment has been delayed (shows delayed on USPS website) and has not been reported lost by USPS we require a waiting period of 30 days from the last tracking update or from the date you contact us to report the delayed shipment (whichever is greater) to allow USPS more time to locate and deliver the package. During this time period, we will assist in locating the package by opening a case with the post office. 

Please select one of the UPS 2/3 day shipping options if you need a fast delivery or you need the item by a certain date.  Normally UPS ground is also very reliable about delivery times but during the holidays (11-24 to 12/24) guarantees are suspended.  We will try to arrange faster shipping but keep in mind guaranteed domestic shipping times can get expensive.

If you place an order after 12 pm on Friday please do not expect tracking to be available until Tuesday morning. Your order will be dropped off on Monday but tracking does not usually populate the UPS system until the next morning.

When we print the shipping label for your order our system will send you an email with your tracking number but keep in mind we still need 24 to 48hrs to process your order and get it delivered to UPS.

Damaged/Opened Packaging

We reserve the right to open any item in an order before shipping for testing and/or other purposes. Due to strict international shipping regulations for lithium-ion batteries, manufacturers (Acebeam) often ship us batteries inside of a light that we have to remove upon receiving.  Also, we offer customers choices to purchase lights with or without batteries so we often need to either install or remove a battery from a brand new light. A sticker or notation on the box does not necessarily indicate a battery is included, what you selected during checkout does.  We often pair trusted batteries we carry that differ from what the manufacture normally uses which requires us to open the package and install the batteries. If your order was opened know you are still receiving a brand new product not a customer return or used item. All of the used, customer returned items we sale are prefixed with "Garage Sale -" and have an updated description with the condition of the used light. If any of this concerns you please send us a message through our contact form BEFORE placing a order with us. 

Refused Packages

Packages that are refused or not accepted will be refunded upon return to us minus shipping charges. If you utilized our free shipping program the cost we paid for the shipping label will be subtracted from the order total.

Signature Confirmation

To ensure the security and safe delivery of your order, we reserve the right to add signature confirmation at our discretion. This measure is intended to prevent your package from being left unattended and potentially stolen. By requiring a signature upon delivery, we aim to provide an additional layer of security and peace of mind for your valuable purchases.
