Not as small as some of the really tiny ones, but a perfect handheld, and it packs a punch. I love the turbo-only tail-switch to get to max brightness when you need it quickly. Nothing worse than messing around with holding down the button in gloves when you just need to see something.
Also, Killzone made it easy!
It's amazing how bright of a flashlight this is. It's not small enough for EDC in my opinion, but I like this size more since it's easier to handle. It's also very nice to be able to charge via USB-C, and to charge other devices using the flashlight as a power bank.
First flashlight order from Killzone. Really love the product and had a good experience ordering. Unit gets super bright on its turbo mode, but definitely gets hot around the top heatsink area after a few minutes. Not really an issue for my use-cases, but important to keep in mind. The "moon light mode" is a bit brighter than I anticipated, but I would guess it's probably quite difficult to dim the LED any more than that. Love the USB-C port, very easy to charge this up. Overall very happy!
Went searching through my email to find what brand this flashlight was, as I loved it and lost it, and wanted to buy another. I do not have many rechargeable flashlights upon which to compare, but it held a charge for a good while, was impressively bright, and felt nice in the hand. Gets a little warm but I think that is more physics' fault. Buying another now.
This replaced my functional but ageing Streamlight ProTac. The EC35 feels to me like the perfect pocket torch. It's bright, warm, has a very good throw, and is in an excellent size format. The UI literally could not be better for my use case; dedicated turbo on the tail switch, and other modes on the side switch. This was also my first experience with Killzone and I was really impressed by the price and shipping speed. Really great experience all around, and I'm looking forward to using this light for many years.
This was my first purchase of a really high quality flashlight. It has surpassed my expectations and sparked an obsession that began as a young child. I find myself outside more often than usual just enjoying this light. Killzone shopping was fast and convenient. It will not be my last purchase from them.
Great light, bright, easy to carry, does get a bit hot when using turbo after 1min but honestly I’d still say it’s great. Shame I lost one of these but I already have a second coming in and hopefully it will be just as good.
I had no idea you could get flashlights this good. So handy and enjoyable to use around the house for projects, and outdoors on walks. Can spot ice on a sidewalk from 20 feet away. SST-20 LED with high CRI helps with technical work like terminating Ethernet in the correct order of colors. I purchased one in the fall of 2020 and my partner likes it so much I got another one this year so we don't have to fight over it.
I wanted a flashlight that could get very bright, had a few different brightness settings, and would fit comfortably in my pocket. Check. Check. Check. It doesn't "disappear" into my pocket the way I might like an everyday carry item, but it's perfect for a jacket pocket. The trade off for that extra size is a fist sized light that can clearly illuminate my the fence at the back of my yard from my kitchen deck, some 200 yards away.
The last note I would make is the "moonlight" setting has been an unexpected win, going from something I thought was unnecesary to something I can't believe I wasn't looking for. Being able to enter my toddler's room to soothe or find something without waking him with a brighter light has paid for itself twice in a week. Great product, both design and construction.
The push button on the back with the selector switch up front is great for quick tactical needs and also for planned usage. Couldn't ask for a better light!
