Rovyvon A23 Pro
We wanna try something different on the LED flashlight materials - this time it is the aerospace 7075 aluminum alloy. 7075 aluminum is stronger than 6063, it is usually used for high-stress applications like Aircraft fittings, shafts, and even missile parts, etc. Besides the stronger on the material, the surface anodization is also harder and thicker, the thickness is about 65um (approx 2.5mils) which makes it performs better on scratch resistance. And the new treatment brings a new color - Military Tan and the crackles on the surface are normal.

The lumen-to-size ratio here is great. Super compact, but not too small. Good battery life and great brightness for it's size. The option for high CRI is a big plus. Proprietary battery? Okay. But replaceable? Very nice. Rovyvon has good people and good products. The only complaint I have is in durability and the clip. I'd like a grippier clip because I've lost one of these before. And even though this is higher end aluminum, on some drops I've had some damage and some dings and dents. That being said, no failures. Reliable. Durable. No cracked lens. Well built in my experience and it took a lot to get it out of my pocket. Great daily driver EDC light but would recommend a backup or larger light if you need long runtimes.
