The real benefit of this light is three programmable modes fixing one of acebeam and other advanced lights only problems; usability in different situations.
The everyday/camping mode gives you low level of 2 lumens for days of runtime, and SOS. the next mode is good if you like strobe and then various selectable modes which will be memorized including turbo, which give you instant turb/strobe with momentary of either that will never cycle your setting keeping you locked in those modes.
To press on further, you have the high-only mode. This always starts out output on the high setting whatever you press to ensure you're in a good bright setting which won't burn your hands or kill the battery, although you can still settle down to lower settings which are not memory.
I really like the 95kcd/ 5000 lumens combo. It hits hard, having the range and light at the same time. Many lights impress on paper but suffer in throw or in width and lumens.
I bought this light as a handgun backup for my guns which are used for protection and don't have lights/or when their lights fail. This light also let's you stage for a gun by first giving valid warning at night. It has great reach and width for situational awareness.
So far I sound like an add, so here is the negative: the roll stop isn't great. I didn't buy it for this but you can not tailstand this light, this light gets hot and levels down, for it's size 1100 lumens is still super and very competitive, there is no holster, the pocket clip ain't great. The light comes with a battery which struggles to maintain the turbo so I bought a weltool 4000mah high amp battery. This light has a black instead of steel colored bezel but that's fine.
Those are the only negatives so far. I've used it for over 1 month.
