The Maxtoch Owleyes W Pro v2.0 (Diamond version) is absolutely the best LEP you can buy at even twice its cost. It is *stunningly* powerful, and the twin beams add a very cool experience as well. The light is well-built and very solid, and I highly recommend it if (and only if) you're familiar with LEPs. LEPs are amazing if you (a) do search and rescue, (b) need to see things very far away, or (c) are a flashlight enthusiast. LEPs are *not* useful for lighting things up that are even remotely close to you. They're not practical lights for most purposes. But, wow, if you know and love LEPs, you will absolutely love this one. It's incredible.
That being said, there are some nits to pick. First, the bezels on the lenses are thin, and replacing the clear lenses with the colored ones is a pain (and the red ones are... basically worthless). Second, the tripod bolt used to attach the handle does come with a hex wrench, but the handle doesn't have a hole to let you easily screw it in (it still works fine, but... an access hole would be great, and a D-ring bolt that you could use your hand to add/remove would be better). Third, the power button doesn't light up, which really only matters if you print a cover for the lenses.
But fourth, though, and really unforgivable, is the case and packaging, which are absolutely horrific. I'd expect better from a $20 light. Your light will *not* travel safely in this case. I 3D-printed some attachments (lenses), and a cap (for the light), and then put them all in a Harbor Freight Apache 2800 foam case. Even if you don't print things, get a foam case and put your very expensive light in it, *not* in the included $0.25 case.
So: thrilled with the light. Had fun designing and printing accessories. Super disappointed in the case it came in. I recommend buying this and a foam-insert case.
