Lumintop FW1A Flashlight

FW1A is a small yet ultra high-intensity and throw flashlight which developed from the hot sales model FW3A. It inherits the Anduril firmware and settings. By adopting a Cree XPL LED and an aluminum orange peel reflector, it delivers a max 1200 lumens output and a 370 meters beam distance by a single 18650 Li-ion battery. The stainless electronic bottom switch controls various functions including smooth ramping, stepped mode setting, strobe, etc. It is an essential compact flashlight for activities including outdoor, everyday carry, etc.

    Customer Service At Its Finest

I cant write about the FW1A before I talk about how impressed I am with Killzone's customer service. I emailed Killzone during a weekend, it was a longshot to think I just might get lucky & strike gold, but you never know unless you dare ask, so I asked & it all came true. Jody responded & said "sorry it is not available we are out" so out of respect I let him know that I appreciated his repsonse & that was that. A few hours or possibly a day come to pass, I cant quite recall the time, he reached out to me again & surprised me by saying that he had three in stock & that if I wanted them, he would put them up on his web page. I was thrown of course when I read the email, as if I had the winning lotto ticket, that is how excited I was, crazy. He said that he double checked & happen to find them on his stock room, these things are rear at this point & next to difficult to find or track down anywhere on earth at this point & for him to find three sitting there & reaching out to me, how can I not provide Killzone with a solid review. The light is everything that I need it to be, I do prefer it over the FW1A Pro but I also do enjoy
the Pro as well, now lets not get this misunderstood, it's like the child you prefer the most but you never tell them that. I have grown my Lumintop collection
significantly, all thanks to Killzone. Although the
collection may look to be uniform, rest assure that they are for the most part all different models & capacitys. Thanks again Killzone, Jody took very good care of me & for that, they have a customer in me for a lifetime.

    Cheers & Many Thanks 🍺🍻🍺,
    Danny C. Los Angeles CA.

    Great little light!

Badass little light. I think lumintop should have probably stuck with a smooth reflector, but rather opted for the orange peel. Doesn't make too big of a difference though. Overall very happy with the light, very compact, very bright, and throws further than the "pro" version.

Very capable when a little more throw is needed than the FW3A provides.

Like the FW3A, the FW1A has areas where it excels and others, not so much. The FW3A is mostly flood, excels up close similar to a floody headlamp, making a great work light, but only has any usable throw if you really crank up the power (increasing heat and significantly reducing battery life). The FW1A, on the other hand, provides significantly more throw per lumen and is far better suited for extended use beyond 25 meters or so, but is only so-so for use as a work light. I really like the FW1A for trail walks and find I prefer it to the FW3A for general outdoor use.

    Perfect EDC

The FW1A is barley bigger than the 18650 battery it takes but has more versatility than anyone could need. It's my favorite torch/Light for carrying. It's only about 1200 lumens witch means like 1-1200 lumens because it has a firefly setting to navigate through the dark house without waking anyone and you can use the turbo setting longer before it gets to warm. Also I have never had faster shipping than Killzone flashlights
